Minds Matter participates with multiple insurance companies as well as Medicare to make our services more accessible. While our therapy services are covered by insurance, the cost of the qEEG Brain Mapping is not covered by insurance. The scan includes a follow-up appointment where we go over results and make recommendations to improve your brain health.
Minds Matter PLLC encourages you to contact your Insurance Provider to ensure our services are an in-network provider prior to beginning services. If our clinic is out of network, it is recommended you reach out to your insurance provider on what therapy costs for which you would be responsible.
Additionally, submitting claims to insurance is not a guarantee of payment. You are responsible for understanding your insurance benefits prior to beginning services. Any claim that is returned unpaid is your responsibility to pay.
How to check insurance coverage:
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
Does my plan cover speech therapy and occupational therapy (we can give you typical codes if you request them)?
If yes, how many sessions are allowed? Do you cover telehealth sessions?
If no, do I have out-of-network benefits?
Do I have a deductible to meet before insurance starts covering or sharing costs?
If yes, how much is my deductible and how much have I met already?
What is covered after the deductible is met?
Do I have a co-pay for speech therapy and occupational therapy?
Ensure that you record the representative's name and a reference number in the event that you need to dispute a rejected claim.
Do You Offer Private Pay Rates:
Yes, please contact Minds Matter PLLC to discuss. You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate from providers to comply with the No Surprise Act.
Providers must display a Good Faith Estimate Notice to comply with the No Surprises Act. The Act requires providers to inform their uninsured and private pay patients that they have a right to a “Good Faith Estimate” to help them estimate the expected charges they may be billed. This Notice (not the Estimate itself) must be prominently displayed on the provider’s website and in the office and at any on-site location where scheduling or questions about the cost of health care occur, if applicable.
